Gup E is a J99 racing sailboat competing out of Raritan Yacht Club on Raritan Bay, New Jersey. The J99 is a modern cruiser racer known for its speed, versatility, and exciting downwind sailing — making it one of the most competitive offshore shorthanded sailboats in the Northeast.
Our campaign focuses on offshore and buoy racing across the local club series and regional regattas. We are constantly pushing to improve our boat speed, crew work, and tactics on the race course.

ryc.org →Founded in 1865, Raritan Yacht Club is one of New Jersey's oldest and most active sailing clubs, located at 160 Water Street in Perth Amboy on historic Raritan Bay. The anchorage supports over 250 yachts with direct access to open water.
The club runs a full racing calendar including weekly one-design and PHRF series, signature regional regattas, and dedicated fleets for all levels. Junior racing, ASA sailing courses, crew mentorship, and First Sail programs make RYC a hub for sailors of every kind — from first-timers to seasoned offshore racers.
Gup E races as part of the RYC fleet, competing in the club's weekly series and regional events throughout the season.
